Hey all, I'm trying to decide which NFL team should be my 'favorite'. I like watching all the games each weekend, but I feel like I'm missing out on half of the experience without having any further fan loyalty. I'm from NY (Scarsdale) so I could be a Jets/Giants fan (Dad is a fan of the Jets, grew up with the merger, Namath, etc). I go to school in Palo Alto, CA (senior year), so I'm also close to the 49ers/Raiders geographically. I've been to games for all four teams, but there are problems with all four: Giants: just won the SB, favorites to repeat (fairweather) Jets: just got one of the all-time greats in Favre, playing well (fairweather) 49ers: have only been here for 3 years Oakland: have only been here for 3 years, plus Al Davis is scary I really like Smashmouth-type teams, with stopping defenses and incredible RB's, but I'm not sure if this could be part of the criteria. Help? 49ers–Frank Gore is my boy Redskins–Moss, Portis and Smoot own Broncos–Elway did go to Stanford as well... Buccaneers–Hmmm Titans–Vince Young was ridic in college Giants–Obvious answer Yankees–Baseball sucks Cowboys are really legit...but frigging Marion Barber has owned all of my fantasy teams (in 3 different leagues, a guy has him and Portis, who both put up huge numbers each week). I like the Bucs. I've watched most of the 'America's Game' Specials, and the '02 campaign was one of the more remarkable seasons. Also, one of the only Super Bowls I can remember pretty vividly (born in 86, so I was young when the 'Boys and 49ers were huge). The Jets are sweet, I play as them in NFL Head Coach.
